Department: Quality Control
Summary Compiles, maintains, retrieves and updates quality control records and related files to verify completeness and accuracy of data by performing the following duties.

| Duties: | Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Completes general data entry tasks and generates reports with various software packages.
Maintains electronic and hard copy file system for Quality Records.
Assists with maintenance of the process for controlling Non Conforming Material
Disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements.
Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
Examines and investigates information contained in quality control documents, verifies completeness and accuracy of data, completes reports and keeps files current.
Confers with document originators or quality control personnel to resolve questions, inconsistencies or missing data and compiles required changes to documents.
Posts changes to quality control records, releases documents, and notifies affected departments and personnel.
Scans material certifications and records and uploads to appropriate file locations
Retrieves materials for qualified personnel upon request.
Implements changes to the filing system when directed to do so.

| Qualifications: | Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
