Description:Loc Performance Products; Michigan's premiere full service manufacturer of large CNC machined components and assemblies for military and commercial applications.rnrnLoc Performance is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Quality Engineer to join our Quality department!rnrnThe Quality Engineer supports new product/process development and manufacturing through the application of quality engineering techniques. This person will handle multiple projects and tasks throughout product development, product launch and manufacturing. Additionally, this individual will ensure that product meets quality standards consistent with customer and other regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer will represent the organization and interface with the customer on a regular basis. This role also supports plant activities in customer issues, supplier issues, and initiate corrective actions with an emphasis on process improvement.rnrnIf you are interested in a work environment that provides support, encouragement and development then we want you!
Duties:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\r\n\r\nInvestigates customer concerns and implements appropriate corrective actions. \r\n\r\nLead and participate in Corrective / Preventive Action teams to resolve customer, supplier and production concerns. \r\n\r\nMaintains a working knowledge of government, customer and industry standards and specifications.\r\n\r\nCommunicate significant issues identified during quality activities and provide recommended process improvements to team and management. \r\n\r\nReviews product nonconformities and makes appropriate disposition.\r\n\r\nParticipate in audits of the Core Processes, implements Corrective Actions and recommends process improvements. \r\n\r\nTrains associates on key characteristics of product to improve awareness of product quality.

A.) from four-year college or university and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\n\r\nLanguage Skills \r\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.\r\n\r\nComputer Skills \r\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook .\r\n\r\nOther Skills and Abilities \r\nWorking knowledge of GD&T is essential. \r\nPractical experience with AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC).\r\nExperience working within an ISO/TS16949 or AS9100 environment.\r\n\r\nTo apply please select �APPLY� below.
