This position Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

|Duties:||Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.|
Reads blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances for a variety of machined components (gears,
Ensures that containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified.
Review and refine data collection requirements according to customer drawings, models, work orders, purchase
orders, sketches and PPAP requirements.
Participates in the corrective action and preventative action processes.
Participates in Gage R & R Studies.
Utilizes a wide variety of inspection tools to complete dimensional reports.
CMM operation utilizing PC-DMIS or MCOSMOS software.
Completes in-process first piece inspection from parts coming off of machines (mills, lathes, etc.)
Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully;
Develops alternative solutions.
Technical Skills - Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and
skills; Shares expertise with others.
Safety and Security – Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines;
Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma and three to five years related experience in quality control. CMM operation experience preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, coworkers and customers.
Ability to work with fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
